Could a game have a longer title? Dream Day Wedding: MIM (that's what I am calling it) takes the top spot. I haven't played it, but I have played all the other games. The big game on the list (and it will be number one next week) is Jojo's Fashion Show. A great game (yes I like it!) and I have been convincing the video game boys in the office to play it as well. Its a free online game so get in there and play.
Burger Shop is a beast! It's played the heck out of and folks keep finding the time to play. If you haven't played yet you must! We're also seeing the power of sequels. Jewel Quest and Dream Day Wedding make bva
I know I know, bit of a delay. Here are the top selling games from last week. Important game of note is Jewel Quest III. Each time this game is released it's a big seller.
Sally's Spa in the top spot bumping Burger Shop! Good work. I was watching Lifetime (for research of course!) and saw a Sally's Spa ad for the game! I was pretty happy about that! Casual gaming is coming a long way when their are television ads for the games. Also, look at all the 'XXXX Dash'? Playfirst is really on to something with those games. Folks just love em! Here are the top games sold this week.
Burger Shop holding steady at number one. I actually went though some of our site reports and found that Burger Shop has one our triple crown! It's the most played*, most downloaded and most purchased! I'll say it again, it's an awesome game!
Our top game has returned to it's lofty perch after a several week hiatus. Burger Shop, a click-management game, where you run an out of control burger shop continues to sell well and do well. It's just a wonderful game. I cannot sing it's praises enough. Anyway, without further ado, the top 25
Mystery PI is holding the top spot and selling well. We all know the hidden object games do amazingly well. People just love staring at screens trying to find stuff! I wonder why that is? I guess because EVERY ONE CAN DO IT! Click through the gallery to review the Top 11 Downloadable games:
We have a new leader! Mystery P.I. is the top selling game on our site. It's part of a continuing series of games in the Mystery PI franchise. I haven't played this one, but I have played the others and they are VERY good. If you love hidden object games, you can access all our hidden object games here. I really thought the Woman's Murder Club would be the top game this week, but Mystery PI came in swooped the top spot.
Burger Shop continues it's dominance as our top selling game. I think there are a couple of reasons for it. First, it's really good as a web demo. Second, it's featured in the arcade section of games.com. Third, games.com is a killer site when you search for it on Google. So exposure and being a good web demo game equal sales. It's not hard developers. Make sticky web demo games and people will buy them.
Lastly, let's welcome a new entry; Woman's Murder Club. It is debuting in the two slot and will be number one next week. I am not familiar with the television show or the books unfortunately. Anyone care to fill me in?
Burger Shop continues to the top selling downloadable game on Games.com. Burger Shop has now been in and out of charts for several months. I think the reason for it are classic casual game elements; - It's easy to play - It looks great - It builds towards more and more difficult levels. - The web demo is an actual playable game that doesn't end in five minutes. - You can play for 5 minutes or 5 hours. - Lastly and most importantly it FUN.
Wonderful, wonderful game. My fiance and I played it at my father's when he was in town and now we have a little joke from the game. While she played she found that she would repeat what was ordered so she could remember while trying to build it. Hence the joke "Cheeseburger,Cheeseburger,Cheeseburger..." Yes we co-opted it from Saturday Night Live but that was over 30 years ago. We're bringing it back!
Burger Shop and The Rise of Atlantis continue to be our best selling games. I have to believe that people are buying The Rise Of Atlantis because of the Stamps that were added in the game. Lastly, The Price Is Right is amazing! It may be a huge download but it really is a wonderful game!
I have to ask? Do the stamps help you enjoy the game? Do they influence you to buy the game?
Burger Shop is back in the top sales spot. Pretty amazing considering the game is a little older and fell off the chart a while ago. I've said it once and I'll say it again; games with good online experiences sell. Pure and simple.
Around the World in 80 Days is now going on it's third week at the number one sales spot. People love the online game and are buying it so they can finish the game. Enjoy.
Folks, if you like these charts let me know. If you want a longer chart I can probably go out to 50? Let me know if this is helpful?
More of the same at the top. The top selling games are also the two best web playable demos. I hope game developers are sensing the trends here. Make good free games and people will buy the upsell!
PS. To the developer who contacted me, 'Can You See What I See?' made the top 3! You're in business!
