Everyones favorite ghost picture-taking-game is heading to the Wii U this fall: Fatal Frame is Zero: Nuregarasu no Miku (The Black-Haired Shrine Maiden). Although no U.S. release date has been announced, here are the details about the story we know so far:
In the game, you portray Yuuri Kozukara, the "shrine maiden" in question, who can see souls that have been taken to the spirit realm. She has the ability to bring them back to the land of the living, if she chooses. You can see this in the very eerie trailer shown below:
As with previous Fatal Frame titles, the game play revolves around using a camera to snap ghost selfies. It seems the controls will finally make excellent use of the Wii U game pad.
Now I can only hope for a Pokemon Snap Wii U edition....
