A number of video game fans attended this weekend's PAX Prime event in Seattle. As part of the show, the peripheral makers at Power A have showed off something new - controllers that charge your Android device while you play.
Called the Power Series Mobile Controllers, these peripherals connect to your phone or tablet and use MOGA Boost technology to recharge them as you play games. The controller is compatible with a number of games, including Dead Trigger, the recently released Asphalt 8: Airborne and Sega's Crazy Taxi, among others.
"We listened to consumers and found a way to solve two of the biggest issues for mobile gamers - precision control and improving the battery life on their phone," said Eric Bensussen, President of PowerA. "Never before in the history of video gaming has it ever been so much fun to charge your phone, and attendees at PAX will have the first chance to get their hands on these new MOGA Power Series controllers."
The MOGA Hero Power (retailing for $59.99) and MOGA Pro Power ($79.99) will be available this fall, and can be pre-ordered here. Attendees can stop by the MOGA booth to pre-order and try out the controllers.
