When new quests are released in ChefVille, their matching quest icons go into the long list of icons that most of us have on the left side of the screen. Using a set of up and down arrows, we're left to scroll through that list until we find the quest we're looking for (whether new or old), which is an incredibly time consuming process when throwing in the fact that the list now resets to the top after most in-game actions are completed.
A simple solution to this issue would be the release of a Quest Manager. We should be able to click on a button to see the icon for every single available quest in our restaurant, and we should be able to sort that list of quest based on the amount of time we have remaining to complete them. I can't be the only player that didn't even realize a quest series had been released because the icons were buried in the middle of the pack, so this sorting feature would stop that from ever being an issue.Furthermore, if we were given a place to view every single quest without constant scrolling, it would simply help players strategize about which quests to give priority next, especially if we could hover over the icon to see each quests's tasks, rather than just seeing the quest's name. What good does the name do anyway, when so many times, quests are released in pairs and there's no way to tell which set of quests you're really looking at unless you memorize everything that's ever been released.
Since there's clearly no stopping Zynga from ignoring the game's many fans that want slower quest releases, the least the developer could do is make viewing these quests an easier process. The easier quests are to see and manage, the more likely we'll be able to finish them all within their usual time limits, and the better the entire game will be as a result.
