Last night, Square Enix unveiled the first official trailer for their upcoming stealth action-adventure title Thief 4.
Ever since this game was first revealed as the cover story for last month's issue of Game Informer, longtime fans of the series have been begging for more info. The video above highlights a cinematic presentation to give fans a rough idea of what to expect from the game once it launches on next gen consoles in 2014.
Considering the recent company restructuring efforts that Square Enix is now putting into place, it will be interesting to see if any of these changes will impact this game. One of the main contributing factors to the poor sales of Tomb Raider, Hitman, and Sleeping Dogs lies squarely in the fact that the company feels that western developed single player games don't sell well. This could result in the addition of a multiplayer component being added to this game, but hopefully that's not the case. The tacked on multiplayer mode added to Tomb Raider is arguably the worst feature of that game and I'm not anxious to see that practice get trickled down to other titles.
