Nemo's Reef gives players an underwater world and allows them to customize it by bringing characters from the film to their coral reefs. Nemo, Dory, Marlin, Bubbles, Crush and many more characters are available along the way, and players can collect over 50 kinds of unique fish by growing different kinds of seeds and plants in their habitat. By balancing the use of Sand Dollars (currency) and Algae (plant food), players in Nemo's Reef can grow both living plants to house new fish, along with decorative plants to help attract more fish to the area.

Nemo's Reef also contains some light social mechanics, as players can visit their friends' reefs and compare their own fish collections with their neighbors. The game is supported via available in-app purchases, but you can play for free if you'd like.
