If you were hoping that CastleVille would take a turn back towards realism after the introduction of Unicorns and talking Dragons, I'm sorry to tell you that we've actually headed farther in the opposite direction. A friendly giant is here to help you learn all sorts of new magical spells for your Kingdom, but you'll need to complete quests to unlock them. This all comes via a new "Force of Nature" quest series, so let's get started on our guide to help you out!
Shake, Rattle, and Go!
- Tend 3 Flowers
- Have 5 Stone
- Explore the Gloom
Rewards: 1,000 coins, 20 XP, 5 Sugar, 4 Giant Candy Letters
A Magical Bond
- Tend 1 Goose
- Tend 6 Buildings
- Craft a Spellbook of Nature
The Spellbook of Nature requires items like Parchment, Beeswax and more to craft, but luckily, it only takes five seconds to complete once you've gathered them all. You'll receive 1,500 coins and 35 XP for completing this quest, and will also receive your very first spell: Cleansing Rain.
Make It Rain
- Prepare the Cleansing Rain Spell
- Cast Cleansing Rain
- Sell 10 Ogre's Belches
Cleansing Rain is a spell that will allow you to unwither crops that you've left alone for too long. You'll need to click on your Spellbook icon in the game's lower menu to access any spells you've unlocked, including this one, and will need to craft each instance of the spell using building materials, just as you would cast food items or decorations for your game. In this case, you'll need Fish, Wool, Magic Beans and Aquamarines to cast a single Cleansing Rain spell. You'll receive 1,500 coins and 30 XP for completing this quest.

- Craft 2 Leather
- Collect 8 Wool
The Big Patches are earned by posting a general news item on your wall. Your rewards for finishing this quest are 1,750 coins, 35 XP and another spell: the New Bloom spell.
A Blossoming Friendship
- Buy 4 Flowers
- Water Tree Saplings 10 Times
- Cast New Bloom Spell 2 Times
The New Bloom Spell requires ingredients to cast, just as the Cleansing Rain Spell does, but this one has a much different purpose: it turns your old flowers into "something new." You'll receive 1,750 coins and 35 XP for finishing this quest.
- Have 5 Barrels of Ranch
- Harvest 8 Cabbage
- Craft 3 Sweet Buns
The Barrels of Ranch are earned by posting a general news item on your wall. You'll receive 1,750 coins, 35 XP and the Sunripen Spell for completing this quest.
It's Always Sunny in CastleVille
- Explore the Gloom
- Plant 10 Crops
- Cast Sunripen Spell 2 Times
The Sunripen Spell causes crops to mature instantly, which will be helpful in future cases where you need a specific ingredient for cooking or a quest but don't want to wait for crops to grow naturally. You'll need items like Eggs, Sand and Candles to craft Sunripen Spells, but once you finish this quest, you'll receive 1,750 coins, 35 XP and the Harvest Wind Spell as your rewards.
The Winds of Change
- Cast Harvest Wind Spell 3 Times
- Harvest 5 Magic Words
- Consume 2 Vegetable Cocktails
The Harvest Wind Spell will allow you to quickly harvest all of your mature crops, so that you don't have to pick each one by hand over time. Meanwhile, the Magic Words items can be earned via a general news item posted on your wall. You'll earn another 1,750 coins and 35 XP for completing this quest.
Preparation and Perspiration
- Have 2 Ropes
- Feed 12 Sheep
- Harvest 10 Magic Beans
Rewards: 1,750 coins, 35 XP, Lucky Rainbow Spell
The Sheep Don't Seem to Mind
- Use 3 Animal Treats
- Cast Lucky Rainbow Spell 2 Times
- Feed 4 Sheep Enchanted by Rainbow Spell
When you enchant Sheep, they'll reward you with extra materials when you collect from them. You'll earn 1,750 coins, 35 XP and a New Royal Crest Symbol for finishing this final quest.
