Similar to the massive Emporium, another new storage structure has launched in Pioneer Trail, giving you a chance to store nine different buildings within it without losing out on the functionality of any of them. This Frontier Works stores the following buildings: Sawmill, Wagon, Soldier Shower, Supply Outpost, Brick Oven, Hammer Forge, Blacksmith, Prospect Falls Stagecoach and Foundary. Of course, you'll need to build the Frontier Works on your Homestead before you can actually put it to use.
The Frontier Works is available to users level 17 and above, and you'll be able to complete a trio of goals on the way to completing it.
Working the Ground
- Place the Frontier Works Building
- Clobber 6 Groundhogs
- Ask friends for 10 Foundation Rods
Rewards: 300 XP, 300 coins
Tools of the Trade
- Fire the Groundhog Cannon five times
- Collect 10 Industrial Planks
- Craft 5 Factory Levers
The Factory Levers are crafted using Lever Poles and Lever Bases. The Lever Bases are earned by asking your friends to send them to you, while the Lever Poles are another crafting project. One of the items to create theme - the Pumpkin Stem - can be found by tending Pumpkins on your Homestead. Your rewards for finishing this goal are 600 XP, 600 coins and the ability to collect the Frontier Works bonus.
Throw the Switch!
- Complete the Frontier Works building
- Craft 5 Washin' Stuff
- Tend 30 Geese on a Neighbors' Homestead
Similar to the Factory Levers, the Washin' Stuff is a complex crafting project, as it requires Road Soap and Scrubbin' Brushes to complete. The Burshes come from asking friends, while the Road Soaps need to be crafted (using two additional items that can be earned by asking your friends).
To go along with this launch, the Pole Pine tree is now available to purchase in the game's marketplace, and you can collect items for the Frontier Works collection as you go along. Turning this collection in gives you a Frontier Works Mystery Crate and 300 XP. The contents of these crates are unknown as of this writing, but we'll make sure to let you know what they are as we learn more.
What do you think of this Frontier Works building? Will you construct one instantly on your Homestead, or will you wait until you have more room to spare for such a large building base? Sound off in the comments.
