Last June, we learned that DeNA and and Epic Games had agreed to bring Infinity Blade, Epic's wildly popular mobile game, to Mobage in the form of a free-to-play and even social experience. While still unavailable in the US, Infinity Blade Cross has launched on Mobage in Japan, and comes with what looks to be a quest-based gameplay system, on top of the intense combat that the series has been celebrated for in its paid forms.

A new trailer for Infinity Blade Cross is also available, and while it's not in English, it does give you a bit of an idea of what to expect from the game once it launches as Infinity Blade X in the US. You can check it out below.
