Tonight's FarmVille update (released early due to the upcoming Memorial Day holiday) saw the launch of the limited edition Ireland item theme. With this release, we see the launch of seven new buildings and decorations in the game's store. The two new buildings are the Irish Farmhouse and the Irish Cottage. The Irish Farmhouse - the more visually impressive of the two items - goes for 30 Farm Cash, while the Irish Cottage costs 300,000 coins.
Both of these buildings will reward you with 3,000 experience points for purchasing them, so keep that in mind if you're very close to leveling up and simply don't want to wait to earn those points the old-fashioned way.
Meet us behind the break for a look at the other new items released this afternoon.
For the new decorations, there are two that go for Farm Cash, while the other three cost standard coins. The two Farm Cash items are the Irish Girl Gnome and the Irish Falls (a waterfall item with some lovely rocks surrounding it). The Irish Girl Gnome has the standard gnome price tag of 15 Farm Cash, while the Irish Falls costs 22 Farm Cash.
If you're more in the mood to spend coins, you can pick up a Mossy Bridge for 250,000 coins, a Red Valerian plant for 10,000 coins, or a Foxglove Flowerbed (a bundle of flowers in a dark brown crate) for 7,000 coins.
All of these items will expire from the store in 17 days, with the extra three days allowing those users that didn't expect a Friday update to still have plenty of time to purchase them once things presumably go back to normal next week.
Will you purchase any of these Irish decorations or buildings in FarmVille? Are you tired of the European themes in the game? What other countries would you like to see represented through item themes? Let us know in the comments.
