The FEMA of the social gaming world, Zynga, has swooped in once again with its pool of over 250 million potential donators to raise relief money for the victims of last week's devastating tornadoes in the Alabama region. Thanks to a partnership with Save the Children, The Examiner reports that 90 percent of all funds raised through Zynga will go directly to relief services.

On April 27, tornadoes ravaged six southeastern states, most drastically in Alabama and Mississippi, killing 340 people and sending countless homes to the ground. In other words, these folks could probably use your help right about now.

Players can donate directly to the cause through this link provided by Zynga. While it's no big in-game event like Zynga performs in FarmVille, FrontierVille and other games during crises, at least it's a response. (Many players and bloggers alike questioned whether Zynga would respond when disaster struck last week.) As a Zynga fan, here's your chance to give to another group of fellow citizens in need.
