Aw, Zynga, is this your way of saying 'I'm sorry' for the whole Sheep Breeding saga? FarmVille players might be this close to forgiveness after they see what the developer is releasing to the game today: A brand new Storage system. The company has revealed on the FarmVille Blog that Storage in the game has gone under a complete redesign including a much more appealing interface similar to the new Gift Box in style.

To access your shiny new Storage menu, just click on either your Barn or Storage Cellar and select "Inventory." But before we even get into the nitty gritty of this new feature, let's get the most awesome change out of the way. Finally, players can view their stored items in both farms, regardless of which farm they're on. For instance, if you're on your Home Farm, you're now able to look at both your Home items and your English items from the same menu. Pretty neat-o, if you ask me.

Now, many of features found in FarmVille's recently revamped tools like the new Gift Box and Market make appearances in the new Storage menu. It's clear at this point what Zynga is getting at with its improvements: ease of use and streamlining. You can use the Search option to find something you know the exact name of, or at least close to it. Also, each item has been attached to a category and will be found in that category once placed in Storage.

The available categories include All (meaning everything shows in order), Trees , Animals, Buildings and Decorations. Yes, this does mean that you can store Trees and Animals, but Zynga says this option will come in a later update. Finally, the option to expand your Storage to hold more items is available right beneath the menu, which can be done with Shovels. All in all, the new Storage menu looks much more appealing, not to mention far easier to use.
