While it could require a lot of things, this is the latest speculation from FrontierVille Info regarding FrontierVille's nearly mythical Oregon Trail update. Just released last night, the Horse Corral feature allows players to tame their Horses and ride them around the homestead. Like the Doctor's Office and Varmint Cannon updates before it, the blog's author, Calin, believes the new ability to ride on horseback is to prepare us for the westward expansion. The update--or possible expansion (depending on FarmVille English Countryside's success)--has stirred months of guesswork from bloggers and players alike since that teasing sign post was included at launch.

Well, Zynga's recent update to the sign's information doesn't help either. Calin claims that the fact that Horses can be trained and increase in level is further proof that it's meant to prepare us for the next major frontier. However, this is purely speculation and should be treated as such. Regardless, it begs the endless question: Just what is Zynga up to?
