
A massive Farm Cash sale, what else? The 50 percent slash on Farm Cash prices for one hour yesterday, and the 40 percent cut that just ended 30 minutes as of this writing, applied to FarmVille for iPhone and iPad players as well. Before this, the game barely hit the Top 25 Grossing Apps since it launched.
While the recent improvements in the 2.0 update certainly helped--not to mention the news that English Countryside is iPhone-ready as well--a cut in Farm Cash prices was behind it, nothing more. Inside Social Apps asks, "Is Zynga starting to get mobile right?" If we're asking the question based off of a sale, not really. But if Zynga keeps this up and continues to improve the quality of its games, then it might be onto something.
