In honor of the Super Bowl, Zynga has re-released many of the items found in last year's brief Super Bowl theme in FarmVille. Specifically, there are five "new" animals to purchase (new being questionable, depending on whether or not you were playing the game at this time last year).
Three of these animals are the Chicken Cheer, Chicken Joy, and Horse Spectator. The two chickens are basically identical items, and are both chickens dressed as cheerleaders. The only difference between the two is in the color of their outfits - Cheer is blue, while Joy is orange. Both use orange and blue pompoms, however (again, the colors in each hand are switched), and their animations are identical, so in theory, you could create an entire themed cheerleader section on your farm, to cheer you on even long after the theme has left the game. Both of these chickens can be purchased for 14 Farm Cash each. They can be harvested every day for just 8 coins.
Meanwhile, the Horse Spectator has chosen to celebrate the big game by putting on his soda cap, which holds two cans of soda (or maybe it's chocolate milk) conveniently on top of his head (since he doesn't have hands to hold them, after all). The horse is animated, taking a few sips from his helmet, and then smiling a full-toothed grin. You can purchase him for 18 Farm Cash, and then harvest from him every 3 days for 84 coins each time.
UPDATE: These items were added as well. Finally, there are two ducks available to purchase as well - the Line Quacker IV, and Line Quacker III. Both are wearing football helmets, and when purchased in bulk could be placed in such a way to make a true animal-football game on your farm. Both are available for 16 Farm Cash, and can be harvested every two days for 45 coins.
If you'd like to purchase any of these animals for your farm, then do so fast, as they will only be in the game for the next three days. While it's likely that Zynga wil bring them back once again during Super Bowl season next year, do you really want to wait that long because you missed them this year?
Let us know which of these three animals you'll be adding to your collection. Which cheerleader is your favorite? Sound off in the comments.
