Players will be able to get all dolled up in the new Barber Shop
. To coincide with that, Zynga
will introduce a new set of four Goals involving everyone's favorite General Store manager, Hank. Alright, so he's a bit corny, but let's at least give the guy a chance with the new girl. (Maybe she'll teach him some better jokes.)
Join us behind the break for a full guide on how to complete the Barber Shop Goals.
The first Goal, titled "From Hank to Hunk," requires players to visit five friends, plant 10 Cotton plants and purchase the Barber Shop from the Buildings section in the Market for 800 coins and 11 Wood. Planting 10 Cotton will cost a hefty 6 thousand coins, so beware. And remember to wait before harvesting those Cotton--they'll be vitally important later. Completing these simple tasks will net you 250 XP, 25 Cloth and 500 coins.
Next up is "Furnishin' the Place," the second Goal in the series. It's here where you'll have to finally build that Barber Shop
and collect your first Daily Bonus from it (and be serenaded by the quartet). In addition to that, you have to tend to six neighbor Horses, which could be troublesome given the recent Horse changes
, and buy one Blond Buggy from the Market for a huge 10 thousand coins and 20 Wood. Meet these requirements for another 25 Cloth and 250 XP.
The third Goal in this series requires players to tend to 20 Pigs, asks friends for 10 Shaving Lathers and harvest the 10 Cotton they planted in this series' first Goal. See? I told you those would be needed later. Oddly enough, yet another 25 Cotton and 250 XP await you for completing this Goal.
The final Goal for the Barber Shop is more of a sending off than some grandiose finale. First, buy one stinking Bucket from the Market for 250 Gold and one Wood, which is buried deep in the Decorations section. Second, ask 10 friends for some Shampoo using the same tried and true method. Finally, as much as I hate to say it, we need to hear one last awful joke from Hank.
Listen to Hank's insufferable humor one last time and yet another 25 Cloth and 250 XP are yours. I have a feeling this Cloth is going to come in handy in a later Goal, but call me paranoid. Now, it's time to give Hank his makeover, which will hopefully do something for his terrible act as well.
