Zynga has finally opened the mysterious portal to Paris in Vampire Wars and now it's time to complete the missions before it closes forever on October 15. The goal of the Paris missions is to protect Saggan's (creepy monkey lover pictured above) son, Gabriel, as he marries a mortal woman, Annette Dupont, and draws attention from Andre Moreau and a slew of undead enemies.
The first of six chapters of missions, "The Request," is open now with the next one unlocking on September 24. After that, each chapter will unlock every four days until the final set of missions opens up on October 8.
Completing each mission chapter with Level 3 Mastery will net you a limited edition ability to use in combat, but mastering the entire series will reward you with an Epic Ability: Soif de Sang, an offensive ability with 225 Attack and 50 Defense. Not to mention five random players who find this item before October 15 will win 1,000 Favor Points. Join us behind the cut for more information on these limited edition missions. First things first, every mission in Paris requires a special item to complete, Fleur de Lis, in varying quantities. The easiest way to find these is either by asking for them from your friends (gifting them does not grant you any) or buying them outright from he collector for 250,000 Blood per 45 Fleur de Lis. You can also purchase them for Favor points. For 10 Favor Points, you'll receive 90 units of the rare flower, while paying up 20 or 30 Favor Points will get you 200 or 325 Fleur de Lis respectively.
The first chapter, "The Request," is open now and doesn't seem to have any level requirement. Mastering this chapter all the way to Level 3 will reward you with an ability called Parisian Passion, a defensive ability with 40 Attack and 58 Defense. Here are the names of the other five chapters and what you'll win for mastering them completely:
- Chapter 2: "Chateau Dupont": Eternal Vigilance (Movement Ability - 65 Attack, 60 Defense)
- Chapter 3: "The Wedding": Command Hunchback Bodyguard (Offensive Ability - 70 Attack, 60 Defense)
- Chapter 4: "The Honeymoon": Control Gargoyles (Defensive Ability - 55 Attack, 75 Defense)
- Chapter 5: "The Pursuit": Animate Skeletons (Movement Ability - 70 Attack, 70 Defense)
- Chapter 6: "The Confrontation": Summon Opera Ghost (Offensive Ability - 85 Attack, 60 Defense)
While this chapter only consumes one or two Fleur de Lis for each mission attempt, it's safe to assume that Chapters 2 through 6 are going to require much more. Remember to ask your friends daily for more units of the flower and, while it's said you can complete regular missions for a chance to find them, this method doesn't reliable enough to waste the energy. So, keeping
