FrontierVille Cheats and Tips: Energy Guide
Energy is FrontierVille's most valuable and scarce resource. Fortunately we have the FrontierVille energy cheats, tips, and news to have you constantly refreshed and ready to work the land of the wild west. Energy in FrontierVille functions much like it does in Treasure Isle, that is, you need it for everything. Luckily there are many ways to regain energy to prolong your gameplay.Replenishing Energy
Waiting - One unit of energy is regained every five minutes (originally three, but the time was extended). Therefore, the most viable way to regain a full meter is by simply taking a break from the game. Luckily, in the early levels, an hour or two will be more than enough to revitalize your settler.
Food - Food is gained by harvesting animals, crops and trees, and can be used to buy meals at the FrontierVille marketplace. Meals will partially refill your energy meter, allowing you to continue working. Some of the various meals are:

- Light Snack: Costs 36 Food and refills 3 energy Points
- Breakfast: Costs 80 Food and refills 7 energy Points
- Lunch: Costs 165 Food and refills 15 energy Points
- Dinner: Costs 320 Food and refills 30 energy Points
- 7 Course Feast: Costs 600 Food and refills 62 energy Points
- All You Can Eat: Costs 10 Horseshoes and refills entire energy meter.
- Beef Jerky: Costs 30 Horseshoes and refills entire energy meter. Also permanently adds three points to your energy meter
Visit Friends - Just for visiting friends you'll receive energy points among other items. So make sure you visit all your neighbors everyday.

Free Gifts - You can send your friends meals for free from the Free Gifts page. Either send or ask your friends for meals and accept the requests when they arrive to regain energy points. The free gift meals have the same energy value as they do at the marketplace so don't ignore this valuable resource.Working - Very often, working the land will yield extra energy. Whether it's chopping wood, clobbering a snake or whacking your house, a blue lighting bolt will sometimes pop out. This bolt represents one point of energy. Although that's not much, we're looking to get our hands on all the energy we can.
Collections - Completing collections will yield a specified reward which can include energy boosts and upgrades.
Leveling up - A level up will fully refill your energy bar and add one to your maximum energy possible.
FrontierVille Energy Cheats and Tips
Unfortunately, there are no real secret FrontierVille energy cheats allowing people to gain an unfair advantage. Otherwise, the people who pay good money for their goods would feel exploited. However, there are a number of ways to get ahead of the competition. Our FrontierVille Energy Cheats and Tips segment has discovered a few:Visit neighbors - Although all the posts saying "add me" may be overwhelming at times, these people know the real key to success: neighbors. Having an overwhelming amount of neighbors is the easiest way to abuse the energy system (and the other systems) in FrontierVille. Visiting neighbors refills energy and grants you other treats and are a great option once you've expending all your points.
Visiting neighbors also allows you to do five tasks. If you help your neighbor by harvesting trees or animals, you can get extra food to buy meals with.

Use neighbors to work - As mentioned above, doing work can yield food and energy, both of which may contribute to your energy meter. Make sure you fully utilize neighbors visiting your farm to give you extra food and energy after your meter has ran out. In addition, you may hire two neighbors a day for 50 Coins apiece. These can also net you some food and energy.
Use neighbors for free meals - Although we never like to abuse our friends' generosity, sometimes we just need that energy! And if your friends play FrontierVille they will be sure to understand. Send those free gifts and request gifts in return. Free meals are a great and easy way to get extra energy.
Be smart - Our final advice for adventurers out braving the frontier, is to be smart about using energy. What we mean by this is simple, don't do anything that would cause a waste of energy points. For example, knowing that you are just two experience points away from an energy refilling level up, don't eat Beef Jerky or visit a neighbor. Simply do a task or two on your own farm so that those two more significant energy sources aren't expended.
We leave the rest up to you. We've done our best to advise you in the ways of FrontierVille energy consumption. FrontierVille Energy Cheats and Tips was just the first in our series of FrontierVille guides. Be sure to check back in and get more tips for our favorite western Facebook game.

A special thanks to everyone who submitted tips!Peach Trees - When visiting neighbors, harvest peach trees as they give you the most food. Also, if your neighbors are newbies, advise them with tips and tricks on how to improve their frontier town.

Insane Bonuses - Get insane bonuses by continually doing work and collecting resources. This can even be done at a low level by using up all your energy, clicking the market button, waiting until your energy recharges (or you could just buy energy), then close out and continue working. When you click on the Market button, the bonus indicator freezes and resets the timer so you have more time to collect your experience and complete your work. You can repeatedly do this as many times as you want.Submitted by Brandon.
Don't Scare the Bears! - When you're clearing grass and chopping wood, don't immediately scare the bears and clobber the snakes. There can only be one snake/one bear at a time so if you've come across one, you can go on clearing or chopping without encountering more, and in that way you'll save the energy you would have used to scare all the animals.

Wall Post Goodies - Don't forget you can pick food, energy, coin, experience, etc. off your friends' Facebook wall posts. If you're smart, you will watch your feed all day and grab nothing but food, 30 times. The downside is that it can become very time consuming.

Create Dummy Accounts - Set up dummy Facebook accounts and gift yourself energy refills as well as any other supplies you may need.

Move Your Items Out of Trouble - Using the multitool you can move whatever you're trying to harvest away from any snakes or bears allowing you to avoid spending the energy it would have required to clobber them.

Sell Your Animals - An easy way to gain fast food is by selling your grown up animals. For example, an adult pig will fetch 45 food and gold!

Strategic Chicken Placement - Put your chickens and geese close to the edge of your property. Then when a fox appears, it will only take 2-3 clobbers to get rid of him.

Step 1: In the Facebook search bar type "FrontierVille Neighbors"
Step 2: Send friend requests to people on there or just post a comment saying something about wanting neighbors.
Step 3: Wait a bit and BAM! You should start getting friend requests. Accept them and send out neighbor requests.

FrontierVille Bonus Checker - The second thing that helps is a Facbook App that shows you all the bonuses you can collect.
To get it, follow these steps:
Step 1: Search in Facebook's search bar "FrontierVille Bonus Checker."
Step 2: Enjoy seeing all the bonuses that you may have otherwise missed.

Chicken Coop Exploit - Once you have the chicken coop, it will harvest all your chickens at once for just one energy. Adult chickens gather 1xp and 12 gold each. Get multiple coops and do multiple harvests per day. I have 1200 chickens and two coops. Harvesting them twice a day gets me 2400 xp and nearly 30K gold, and uses just several energy points!

Kill Tree Saplings - Kill trees as soon as they sprout and you'll take them down with just one whack. BAM, no more tree and no pesky tree stump to deal with. Plus you only use one energy point instead of the 7 or 8 energy points required for a big tree. Only one tree is needed for more saplings to grow so keep one of each kind around to grow for wood, at least until you unlock trees in the store.

Extra Energy - Buy just enough food to fill your energy meter up until it is one below your maximum amount. Then buy the largest amount of food possible. This will boost your energy up far beyond your max. The most I've had at one time is 98 energy. Just be sure that the energy timer doesn't fill that last energy point before you get a chance to buy the meal.

Mystery Animal Energy - Tending to your neighbors' mystery animals can get you energy. Animals such as the rabbit, the ferret and the deer will usually give you two energy points. What you may not know is that if you click on them again, you can get another energy point out of them. It's a good way to build up some energy if you're low on food and unable to purchase energy at that point.

Zynga Bar Bonuses - On the Zynga bar, on the left, there is a drop down to all the Zynga games. To collect horseshoes and extra energy make sure you have FrontierVille selected. Then make sure you do not already have FrontierVille or any other Zynga game open. Click 'Play Now' and voila! Jack should pop up when your game loads to notify you of your collected bonus!
